Should I buy new or used irons?
Used and like new iron sets can be excellent value, since iron designs change slowly. Check the grooves and faces for wear, especially on the scoring irons (8 iron through pitching wedge) that get the most use, as worn grooves reduce spin and control.
What is a standard iron set?
