Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Possibly the most forgiving iron of 2026 - the highest MOI in PING's line from a 22% wider sole, longer blade and lower CG
- A larger, confidence-inspiring profile that delivers fine shots from not-so-fine swings
- Higher launch than the G730 - a lower, more rearward CG gets the ball up more easily
- A dampened, powerful, more refined impact feel than the clunky norm for super-game-improvement irons
- Unapologetically super-game-improvement - a large head with minimal workability, not for shaping shots
- Only a minor upgrade over the G730 in distance and height
- Strong lofts and a wide-soled, distance-iron build
