Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- A clear forgiveness improvement over the G430 - mis-hit ball-speed loss stays under 3 mph no matter where you catch it
- A thinner, faster face for more ball speed - about 1 mph and a yard or two beyond the G430
- A sleeker, more compact shape with a thinner topline and shorter blade - a player's-iron look without giving up forgiveness
- An updated PurFlex badge for a solid impact feel that balances feedback and mishit muting
- A minor refinement of the G430 - not worth upgrading unless you're changing loft profiles
- A game-improvement iron - built for forgiveness and distance, not shaping
- Strong, distance-oriented lofts
