Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Elite feel - a new i-Forged face 14% softer than the ZX5 Mk II for a more consistent, solid, soft yet hot impact
- The highest-rated players-distance iron of 2025 for sound, feel, looks and likelihood of purchase
- 2nd for forgiveness in 2025 (8.9/10) with a huge sweet spot, plus strong accuracy and distance (8.8 each)
- A cleaned-up, more attractive look versus the busy ZX5 Mk II
- Not the longest - strong on distance (8.8) but other 2025 players-distance irons edge it for raw length
- A players-distance iron - moderately strong lofts, not for traditional gapping or maximum greenside spin
- Less workable than a true players' iron (the ZXi7)
