1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CaddyCompare (caddycompare.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. About the service

CaddyCompare is an independent golf equipment price comparison and review aggregation service. We provide information to help golfers research and compare equipment. We are not a retailer and do not sell products directly.

We also offer optional accounts and price alerts. Signing in lets you save alerts that email you when a product you are watching drops below a threshold you choose. Accounts are not required to browse the site.

3. Accuracy of information

We make every effort to ensure that prices, availability, and product information are accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information sourced from third-party retailers, feeds, or publications.

Prices and availability may change at any time. Always verify the current price and availability on the retailer's own website before making a purchase.

Price-alert emailsare point-in-time captures based on the most recent scan we performed. The retailer's price or stock status may have changed by the time you click through. The email is a prompt to check, not a guarantee.

4. Accounts and price alerts

Accounts are created through our identity provider (Clerk). By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 16 years old.

Alert limits. Each account is limited to 50 price alerts at any time. We may adjust this limit in the future. You may edit, pause, or delete any alert from your account page.

Alert delivery. We use a third-party provider (Resend) to send alert emails. We aim to deliver them promptly after a matching price drop is detected, but we do not guarantee delivery time, inbox placement, or that every qualifying drop will be detected — our scanner runs on a schedule and brief market movements between scans may go unnoticed.

Account suspension or deletion. We may suspend or delete an account that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these Terms, including (without limitation) the conduct described in section 5.

5. Acceptable use

When using CaddyCompare you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically extract data from the site beyond normal browsing
• Create accounts using fake, stolen, or disposable email addresses, or create multiple accounts to circumvent the per-account alert limit
• Use price alerts as inputs to an automated trading, drop-shipping, or arbitrage system without our prior written permission
• Attempt to bypass authentication, access another user's account, or interfere with the operation of the site
• Reverse-engineer or expose information about non-public APIs except as expressly permitted by these Terms

6. Affiliate links

CaddyCompare participates in affiliate programmes. When you click a link to a retailer on our site, we may earn a commission on any resulting purchase at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence the editorial content or the way listings are ranked on this site. Listings are sorted by price, not by commission rate.

7. Third-party content

CaddyCompare aggregates review content and news from third-party sources including YouTube channels and golf publications. We link to original content and do not host third-party video or articles on our servers.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites. Links do not constitute an endorsement of those sites or their operators.

8. Intellectual property

The CaddyCompare name, logo, and all original content on this site are the intellectual property of CaddyCompare. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish any part of this site without prior written permission.

Equipment names, brand names, and product images remain the property of their respective manufacturers and retailers.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

CaddyCompare is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that price-alert emails will be delivered, will arrive on time, or that every qualifying price drop will be detected. Use of the site is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaddyCompare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on any information contained within it, including any loss arising from purchasing decisions made on the basis of prices, alert emails, or scores shown.

11. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of CaddyCompare at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of CaddyCompare shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
