Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Industry awards include 2026 Hot List recognition: tester noted 'the face felt explosive + a lot of height + going to get out of whatever situation you're in'
- More oversize head + longer blade + more offset + thicker topline + 2° weaker lofts than standard KING — maximum slice-correcting forgiveness + 75g low-back tungsten + 23% more face flex
- Reviewer testing: 'flat-out performed, even moreso than some of the better game-improvement irons I tested' — outperforms GI peers despite SGI positioning
- Inherits 2026 KING chassis upgrades: 3D-printed lattice medallion + reimagined Skid Sole + foam-microsphere polymer-suspended catapult weight
- Explicit draw bias by design — players who already draw will fight the head
- 31° 7-iron loft + 2° weaker than standard KING trades peak ball speed for launch help — total distance lags the standard KING sibling
- Oversized head + longer blade + more offset + thicker topline + wider sole — SGI silhouette will not appeal to the better-player crowd
- Polymer-suspended catapult weight + foam damping dulls mishit feedback — same trade-off as standard KING sibling
