Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Some of the best feel in any TaylorMade iron - a 2,000-tonne grain-forged carbon steel muscle-cavity, wonderfully soft on centre
- Sneaky good forgiveness - perimeter weighting makes it much more tolerant of mishits than the P7MB blade
- Elite workability - hit it high or low, draw or fade, with solid distance control
- TaylorMade's most-played iron on tour - a compact, blade-like shape with a touch of help
- Still a players' iron - not nearly as forgiving as a game-improvement or distance iron
- Traditional players' lofts and moderate distance - for skilled ball strikers
- Plus to single-digit handicaps - feedback firms up on poor strikes
