Distance
Excellent distance control - the Ai-One insert's AI variable-thickness design keeps ball speed consistent from all strike locations, a true roll from across the face. Among the better putters for distance control.
Workability
A slight-arc fang - the #7 comes in a slant-neck (S) with slight toe hang for slight-arc players and a crank hosel option, the slant-neck Seven S suiting a slight arc. Moderate arc-fit - more arc-friendly than a face-balanced mallet, less than a blade.
Feel
Soft and responsive - the Ai-One insert feels almost identical to Odyssey's classic White Hot (soft out of the middle but responsive from the toe or heel), a satisfying, soft strike. Strong feel - the iconic White Hot softness.
Sound
A soft, muted note - the soft urethane backer tones down impact sound and vibration for a soft, muted note, a clean, dampened acoustic. A clean, muted putter sound.
