How we use reviews & copyright
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. What the CaddyIndex is
The CaddyIndex™ is our own editorial rating. For each club we read the published expert reviews and independent lab tests, weigh what they found, and express our assessment in our own words and our own scoring. Nobody at CaddyCompare hits a shot to produce it — it is a synthesis of the wider conversation, not a reproduction of any one publication.
Every club page lists the sources we read and links to each one. The published reviews contain far more than our summary — full launch-monitor tables, photography, long-form testing narratives and the reviewers' own voice — and we encourage you to read them in full at the source.
2. How we gather sources
We read publicly available reviews and coverage. We respect publishers' access controls and terms — where a site declines automated access, we do not attempt to circumvent it. If you are a publisher and would prefer we did not read your content at all, tell us and we will exclude you.
3. Requests and takedowns
If you are a publisher, reviewer or rights-holder and believe a club page draws too heavily on your work, misrepresents it, or you would like it changed or removed, we want to hear from you and we will act promptly and in good faith.
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Copyright / content request”, and include the club page URL, the source of yours it concerns, and what you would like us to do. We will acknowledge and respond quickly.
This sits alongside our Terms of Use and Disclosure.
