Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- The longest PING iron ever - around 5 yards more through the set, with the 7-iron 2-3 mph faster than the G710
- Outstanding forgiveness - 5% higher MOI than the G710, low and toe misses still flew well with carry only marginally impacted
- A big feel and sound upgrade over the G710 - the improved cavity gives a solid, muted strike, not the hollow feel of before
- Lofts 1.5-4 degrees stronger for distance, with a controlled, distance-biased flight
- A super-game-improvement distance iron - strong lofts, minimal workability
- Launches lower (~16 degrees) with ~4,500 rpm - slightly less stopping power on firm greens
- A large, distance-iron footprint
