Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- A blade-like Tour iron with added forgiveness - high MOI without sacrificing the buttery-soft feel
- A soft yet explosive feel unique to PXG - the XCOR2 polymer fills the cavity behind an incredibly thin face
- Long, precise and workable - extra workability versus the P and XP, with steady spin and ~1 mph more ball speed than Gen4
- Carried on the PGA Tour by Zach Johnson
- More compact and slightly less forgiving than the P and XP - you need to find the middle
- Premium-priced
- Purists may still prefer a one-piece forged blade (the ST)
