Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Industry awards: exceptional distance + consistently high apex + tight spin + steep descent + workable yet forgiving + large sweet spot + soft impact feel + mis-hits retain height and direction
- 27° 7-iron loft (stronger than 2022 KING Forged Tec's 29.5°) + thinner+more flexible PWRSHELL face with H.O.T. Variable Thickness Geometry + 20g low-back tungsten in 4-7 irons
- 5-step forged 1025 carbon body AND face + lighter+softer foam in hollow body — 'deeper sound that appeals to better players' per industry awards
- Softened topline + shorter blade length + tucked toe — clean compact players-distance silhouette
- Most average model in the Players Distance category — performance tightly clustered around the average, not class-leading in any single metric
- 27° 7-iron loft is strong — distance is achieved partly through aggressive lofts that compress traditional gapping
- Hollow-body construction caps pure-blade feel; reviewers don't compare favourably to a 5-step forged MB sibling
- Will be superseded by 2026 KING Tec within a year — compare current-stock pricing
