Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- MyGolfSpy's 2025 Most Wanted Player's Iron winner - a class-topping 9.4 MGS score that separated it from the field
- The highest forgiveness (9.6) AND accuracy (9.5) scores in the 2025 players' iron test - consistency is its hallmark
- Some of the best feel in golf - a new i-Forged S15C steel, the softest Srixon has ever used, 7% softer than the ZX7 Mk II
- Workability is the selling point - a single-piece forged head with the shallowest cavity for flighting and shaping shots
- Distance isn't the point - it ranks 7th for distance, with solid but not class-leading carry
- A players' iron - traditional lofts and a compact head reward better ball strikers
- Less outright forgiving and long than a players-distance iron (the ZXi5)
