Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Reviewer testing after 18 rounds: 'some of the most forgiving irons I've hit' + +5yd longer than TaylorMade M4 irons
- Matched 37.5" length + calibrated lie angles + offsets + sole widths + matched 7-iron weight — exceptional OL setup repeatability tuned for category
- Inherits standard 2022 LTDx chassis: 23% larger PWRSHELL thin area + PWR-COR floating steel core bar in soft polymer + 26.5° 7-iron loft
- Quiet knock with medium firm feel + very pleasant softer impact for perfect strikes per reviewer testing
- Longer LTDx irons have a lower ball flight compared to standard length clubs — long-iron apex loss vs variable-length sibling
- Standard LTDx chassis 800rpm lower spin on flatter ball flight — limited stopping power on firm greens
- OL silhouette categorical penalty at address — long irons stubby, short irons stretched
- Now 3+ years old — superseded by Aerojet OL (2023) → Darkspeed OL (2024) lineage with more face flex
