Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Robot test data: +6.5yd heel-hit distance vs Radspeed predecessor + ~800rpm lower spin on flatter ball flight
- 23% larger PWRSHELL thin area + PWR-COR floating steel core bar suspended in soft polymer = more forgiveness + centered CG
- Cobra explicit focus on improving sound and feel vs Radspeed — polymer damping naturally dampens impact vibration
- Strong-loft 26.5° 7-iron (1° stronger than Radspeed) — class-competitive 2022 GI distance with refined acoustic
- 800rpm lower spin on flatter ball flight than Radspeed — strong-loft + low-spin profile limits stopping power on firm greens
- Standard GI silhouette + strong lofts + low spin = no shotmaking on offer
- PWR-COR construction caps pure-blade feel vs the players-iron line — distance-iron-leaning acoustic
- Now 3+ years old — superseded by Aerojet (2023) → Darkspeed (2024) → DS-Adapt (2025) → KING (2026) lineage with more face flex
