Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Ping's longest and most forgiving irons of their era - 3rd overall for forgiveness in MyGolfSpy's Most Wanted testing
- About half a club longer than the G425 - the 7-iron is ~2 mph faster and 5 yards longer
- New PurFlex cavity badge (seven flex zones) speeds up a wider face and dampens the hollow sound for better feel
- Tungsten toe and shaft-tip weights make them incredibly stable
- A game-improvement iron - built to fly straight, not to shape
- Strong, distance-oriented lofts - not for traditional gapping
- A larger, distance-iron footprint than a players' iron
