Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- CLASS-LEADING 9.2/10 distance in 2025 MGS Best SGI Iron test — longest SGI iron tested
- Testers' favorite SGI iron — won several subjective awards including best for feel + looks
- Ball speeds vary by no more than 5% on worst mishits — exceptional retention
- 2025 Golf Digest Hot List Gold Winner + 5/5 Callaway store rating + Speed Frame + Ai10x Face
- Accuracy and forgiveness are more mixed — performs well when properly fit but doesn't match top SGI performers in those metrics
- Heavy offset + very wide sole + considerably thicker topline — bulky SGI shape, not for shotmakers
- Mishits show more drop-off in forgiveness and dispersion than other super game-improvement irons in MGS testing
- Premium SGI pricing at ~£860 for 6-piece set — paying for distance over accuracy/forgiveness leaders
