- 2021 BEST PLAYERS IRON in MGS testing — 0.1542 Strokes Gained (0.081 better than runner-up) + BEST for forgiveness
- Longest 5-iron in MGS testing for 60% of testers + 1/2 to 3/4 club longer than most peers
- Up to 90g tungsten per iron (most ever in Apex) + AI-designed Flash Face Cup forged hollow body
- 4.8/5 (97% recommended) Callaway Pre-Owned + 2021 Golf Digest Hot List 5 stars for performance
- Now 4 years old — superseded by Apex Pro 24 (2024) with enhanced AI Flash Face technology + improved sole design
- Aimed at scratch and single-digit handicappers — too demanding for mid/high HCP players
- Unique mix of soft and explosive feel — hollow body + 90g tungsten reduces classic players-iron pure-feel sensation vs blade siblings
- Premium pricing typical of forged hollow-body players irons — not the value option
