Watch
Rated highest for forgiveness and sound; its softest dimension is workability.
Your stroke runs straight and your misses come on long approach putts.
You arc the putter noticeably, or short putts are already the weak part of your game.
Pros
- The most stable head in the line, pairing mallet size with the tungsten weighting
- Sound is the pick of the family, fuller than any of the blades manage
- Pace from long range is a genuine strength rather than the weakness the blades show
- Rounded wings and stacked lines give real help lining up
Cons
- No toe hang at all, so an arcing stroke will fight it and the slant-neck build suits that better
- Independent testing found short putts the weak spot, despite the size
By dimension
Forgiveness
ExcellentThe full mallet body puts the line's tungsten to best use, and this is the steadiest head Odyssey built around it.
Distance
ExcellentThe long putts this line struggles with in blade form come good here, and pace from range is a strength.
Workability
ModestA double bend neck leaves no toe hang at all, so the face holds square through a straight stroke.
Feel
ExcellentSoft off the White Hot insert, with the bigger body taking a little of the sharpness out of feedback.
Sound
ExcellentThe pick of the family here, a fuller and rounder note than the hollow one the blades give.
Looks at address
ExcellentA softly curved tail with raised heel and toe shoulders, and enough lines to aim by over the ball.
