Strong for a blade - a traditional Anser blade whose AI-designed insert has a ridged aluminium backer that speeds up off-centre putts, making the sweet spot effectively larger, so off-centre putts travel just as far as centre strikes. Good forgiveness for a traditional blade - the insert enlarges the effective sweet spot.
Distance
Excellent distance control - the Ai-One insert promotes consistent ball speed across the face (claimed 21% more accurate than a traditional putter), a dialled-in pace. Among the better putters for distance control.
Workability
An arc-fit blade - the #1 has a crank hosel giving toe hang, suited to players with a slight-to-moderate arc, a toe-hang blade for players who release the putter. Good arc-fit - a true toe-hang Anser blade.
