CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.
You're a mid-to-high handicapper who wants Titleist quality with maximum distance, forgiveness and an easy high launch.
You want a compact players' shape, soft forged feel, or the spin and workability of the T150 or T100.
Pros
- One of the longest, most forgiving Titleist irons - 5 yards longer than the T200 and 15 longer than the T100, with exceptional ball speed that stays high on mishits
- Excellent forgiveness for the class - 40% more tungsten and a larger, more stable head fly the ball to your yardage, with carry as tight as 174-178 yards in testing
- High launch with a steeper descent than the T200 or T100 - it holds greens despite strong lofts
- A Golf Digest 2021 Hot List Gold winner
Cons
- Firmer, louder feel than the forged T-series irons - a modern 'snap' that is faster but less substantial
- The largest, most offset head of the T-Series, with a busier cavity - less workable and less compact than the T100/T200
- Strong lofts - not the spin or shot-shaping of a players' iron
By dimension
Forgiveness
Excellent for the class - 40% extra tungsten and a larger, more stable head fly the ball to your yardage with ball speed that stays high on mishits, the biggest difference over the T200, with dispersion-tightening stability. Among the more forgiving Titleist irons made.
Distance
Long, by design - it carries 5 yards farther than the T200 and 15 farther than the T100, with exceptional ball speed, the strongest lofts of the range (29-degree 7-iron) and a faster variable-thickness face. Strong game-improvement distance.
Workability
A distance-first game-improvement iron - the largest head of the T-Series with a rounded toe and a busier cavity, built for distance and forgiveness over shaping, a long, forgiving iron rather than a shotmaker. Limited workability for the class, by design.
Feel
Solid, if firmer - a faster but less substantial feel with a modern 'snap' at impact rather than a soft forged sensation, though feedback stays quite good with mishits feeling distinct from pure strikes, the Max Impact 2.0 improving the feel. Good feel for a fast game-improvement iron.
Sound
Louder and firmer - the loudest of the 2021 T-Series, definitely louder and firmer than the forged T100, with more of a modern 'snap', though the polymer core keeps it from being harsh. An acceptable, modern acoustic for a game-improvement iron.
Looks at address
A clean game-improvement shape - the largest head of the T-Series with moderate offset and topline, a rounded toe and a busier cavity, but new chrome plating for a sleeker, more premium look. Good-looking for a game-improvement iron.
