T200
CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.
You're a low-to-mid handicapper who wants players'-iron looks with real distance and forgiveness, and a better feel than the old T200.
You want maximum spin and control (the T100/T150), or maximum forgiveness (the T350).
Pros
- Players' looks with distance performance - matches the T100 for distance and nearly keeps up with the longer T150
- A step up in forgiveness from the T150 - expanded dual D18 tungsten makes the head very stable and preserves ball speed off-centre
- Better feel and a quieter sound than the loud, clicky 2021 - the Max Impact Core moved closer to the heel and face
- More spin than the 2021 - up around 700 rpm on centre for better stopping power
Cons
- Still a hollow distance iron - less spin and control than the T100
- Improvements over the 2021 are fairly minor - mostly sound, feel and looks
- Less forgiving than the game-improvement T350
By dimension
Forgiveness
A step up - a noticeable step up in forgiveness from the T150, the expanded dual D18 tungsten making the head very stable, the tungsten extending toward the heel preserving ball speed off-centre and reducing curvature. Class-leading players-distance forgiveness.
Distance
Matches the T100, near the T150 - it didn't lose any distance to the T100 and almost kept up with the longer T150, with ball speed essentially identical to the 2021. Strong players-distance distance.
Workability
A players-look distance iron - it keeps a players' look but plays like a distance iron, with less workability than the compact T100, a hollow distance iron. Good workability for a players-distance iron, below the T100/T150.
Feel
Better than the 2021 - the 2023 addresses the loud, clicky feel of the 2021 with a more stable head and quieter impact, with an improved solid sensation. Good feel for a hollow players-distance iron, much improved over the 2021.
Sound
Quieter and cleaner - the sound is a little quieter than the 2021, addressing the old clacky note, an improved acoustic from moving the Max Impact Core. A much-improved sound for a hollow players-distance iron.
Looks at address
Cleaner topline - an updated topline and finish for a more appealing look, a clean players' shape. One of the better-looking players-distance irons of its era.
