GTS3

CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.

91CaddyIndex™confidence 0.88
Best for

Low-handicap (0-12) tour-spec players with swing speeds 95-120 mph who want class-leading dual-weight adjustability (sliding CG Track + rear flat weight) in a compact tour profile with the proven GT3 distance heritage.

Avoid if

You need maximum forgiveness (GTS2 is more stable), you already own a GT3 (deltas are modest), or you spin too high (look at GTS4 for the most aggressive spin reduction in family).

Pros

  • Most adjustable driver from the brand ever: SureFit CG Track (5 positions, 8g) plus a new rear flat weight (5g) plus a SureFit hosel (16 positions)
  • 150 rpm less spin and ~1° more launch than the GT3 at the same setting in editorial testing
  • 26g Proprietary Matrix Polymer (vs 13g in the GT3) frees discretionary weight for MOI gains in a compact 450cc head
  • Tour-validated — 50+ PGA Tour players moved to the GTS family at the Houston Open launch, across all four models

Cons

  • Brand new (June 2026 retail launch) — no Most Wanted or Hot List data yet; ranking against the Qi4D LS unproven
  • Extended PMP wrapping contributes to a more resonant feedback that feels significantly harsher and more hollow than the previous generation
  • Mixed real-world ball-speed results: testers saw ~1 mph LESS average than the GT3 (though peak speed gains)
  • Compact 450cc head means lower MOI than the GTS2 — buyer should weigh shape control vs forgiveness

Forgiveness

Split Mass Frame construction within full thermoform body strategically repositions weight — driving mass rearward to increase MOI for enhanced forgiveness while shifting it forward to optimize ball speed. The 26g polymer (versus 13g in predecessor) frees significantly more discretionary weight for MOI redistribution. Compact head still provides excellent stability across the face thanks to dual weighting. New rear flat weight adds back-weighted stability that the predecessor lacked when the CG Track sat fully forward.

Distance

Independent testing showed at the same setting and shaft, the head produced just under a degree more launch and approximately 150 rpm less spin versus the predecessor. Manufacturer robot testing showed 0.3 mph of clubhead speed and about 0.5 mph of ball speed from aero alone — faster swingers see bigger gains. Mixed real-world results: 1 mph less average ball speed versus the predecessor but highest ball speed numbers came with the newer head. Speed Sync Face improves ball speed retention across face.

Workability

For the first time in a brand driver, the adjustable CG Track combines with a Dual Weighting System and the hosel sleeve to take full command over launch, speed, stability, and directional control — the most adjustable model the brand has produced. The front weight track from the predecessor carries on with 8-gram standard weight that slides through 5 positions to create a draw, fade or neutral bias, plus a new 5g rear flat weight. Tour validation: 50+ tour pros moved to the new family. Class-leading 2026 workability.

Feel

Reviewers note the head offers solid feedback from across the face, if slightly more muted than before. The extended polymer wrapping further around the chassis contributed to a more resonant feedback that feels significantly harsher and more hollow than the previous generation. Still feels powerful and workable but the polymer extension hurts mishit feel.

87

Looks at address

Reviewers note the more compact profile with a deeper face — classic tour aesthetics. Compact 450cc head for a tour-inspired look and shot-shaping control. A more pronounced raised tail improves aerodynamics while preserving the classic tour silhouette. Tour validation at the highest level.
