SYSTM2 Del Monte
CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.
You putt with an arc and want blade looks with mallet-like stability - a wide-body blade with raised MOI, premium milled feel and genuine value.
You putt with a straight stroke, you want maximum high-MOI mallet forgiveness, or you want a fully milled head.
Pros
- Blade looks with mallet-like stability - the most stable SYSTM2 blade
- MIM toe-and-heel weighting raises MOI for consistent across-face performance
- A Pure Roll+ insert that feels amazing with a crisp sound
- Genuine value (~$250) with a smart two-tone alignment finish
Cons
- 40 degrees of toe hang - built for an arc, not a straight stroke
- Still a blade - less MOI than a true mallet
- A MIM (not fully milled) construction at the value price
By dimension
Forgiveness
Strong for a blade - the wide-body Del Monte has extra flange mass and is the most stable of the SYSTM2 blades, the MIM process removing mass behind the face and pushing it to the toe and heel for increased MOI and consistent across-face performance. More forgiving than a standard blade, if below a true mallet.
Distance
A standout - the Pure Roll+ face delivers consistent performance across the face even on misses, a consistent roll. Among the better putters for distance control.
Workability
An arc-friendly blade - the Del Monte hosel creates 40 degrees of toe hang for an arcing stroke (the Short Curve variant adds 51 degrees with 3/4 offset). Good arc-fit - a moderate-to-strong toe-hang blade.
Feel
Excellent for the price - the milled face with a groove-cut Pure Roll+ insert feels amazing, a slightly firmer yet smooth premium feel. Among the better putter feels - a premium milled-and-grooved insert.
Sound
A crisp note - the sound is particularly crisp, especially on longer putts, from the fly-cut, saw-cut grooved face, a clean, crisp acoustic. A clean, crisp note.
Looks at address
Clean, with smart alignment - the clean, slightly elongated blade profile with a deeper back-flange, a two-tone silver-and-black finish with a center-back alignment line that frames the ball. Among the cleaner blades.
