Where it wins
- Forgiveness89
- Feel89
- Distance88
Watch
Rated highest for forgiveness and feel; its softest dimension is workability.
You take the putter straight back and through and want a large, stable mallet that is easy to aim.
You putt with an arc or want a compact head — a blade or a slant-necked mallet suits you better.
Pros
- A wide, deep high-MOI head that holds line on a mishit
- A White Hot feel that stays soft without deadening pace
- Bold Versa alignment and an insert that maintains ball speed
Cons
- A large footprint that will not suit every eye
- Face-balanced only, so little for an arc stroke
- Costs more than most stock mallets
By dimension
Forgiveness
ExcellentA wide, deep Jailbird head puts mass far from the face, so off-centre putts keep their line and pace.
Distance
ExcellentA strength — the AI-designed White Hot insert maintains ball speed on off-centre hits for consistent distance control across the face.
Workability
ModestA double-bend shaft leaves the face balanced at zero toe hang, so it resists rotation rather than shaping a putt.
Feel
ExcellentA world-class White Hot feel — the White Hot urethane over an aluminium backing gives a soft, quiet, gentle impact.
Sound
ExcellentA quiet, gentle note at impact — short putts are barely more than a whisper off the White Hot urethane.
Looks at address
ExcellentBold Versa stripes and a broad footprint make aiming easy, though the head covers a lot of ground.
