SYSTM2 Ardmore
CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.
You putt with a straight stroke (Single Bend) and want a clean, compact mid-mallet with excellent milled feel and genuine value.
You putt with an arc (choose the L-Neck), you want maximum high-MOI forgiveness, or you want a fully milled head.
Pros
- A compact mid-mallet - more stable than a blade in a clean, small head
- A Pure Roll+ insert - uniform speed control and tighter dispersion
- A milled, groove-cut face feel that rivals putters costing double
- Genuine value at ~$250 with a smart two-tone alignment finish
Cons
- Face-balanced as the Single Bend - choose the L-Neck for an arc
- A compact head with less MOI than a full mallet
- A MIM (not fully milled) construction at the value price
By dimension
Forgiveness
Strong for a compact mallet - the Ardmore is a compact mid-mallet that offers more stability than a blade while keeping a small, clean head, the mini-mallet shape adding forgiveness. More forgiving than a blade, if below a full high-MOI mallet.
Distance
A standout - the multi-material Pure Roll+ face delivers uniform speed control and tighter dispersion than many premium-tier rivals, a consistent roll. Among the better putters for distance control.
Workability
Configurable, graded at the Single Bend - the Ardmore comes in a Single Bend for a face-balanced profile (straight-back, straight-through) or an L-Neck for toe hang. Very limited arc-fit as the face-balanced Single Bend - choose the L-Neck for an arc.
Feel
Excellent for the price - the milled face with a groove-cut Pure Roll+ insert gives a slightly firmer yet smooth feel that's easy to trust, among the best-feeling stock putters, rivalling putters costing more than double. Among the better putter feels - a premium milled-and-grooved insert.
Sound
A clean note - the saw-cut grooves are engineered to improve sound at impact, a refined acoustic. A clean, muted note.
Looks at address
Clean, with smart alignment - one of the cleanest-looking mallets in the line, with subtle milled detail rather than aggressive rails, a two-tone silver-and-black PVD finish that frames the ball for alignment. Among the cleaner compact mallets.
