Watch
Rated highest for feel and sound; its softest dimension is workability.
You fight a slice or a right miss, or need easy launch, and want the most forgiving driver in the Stealth 2 line - a high-launch, draw-biased, highest-MOI head for higher handicaps and slower swings.
You already draw the ball, want to shape shots, or want the lowest spin and most distance - the standard Stealth 2 or low-spin Plus suit you better.
Pros
- The highest MOI of any driver in the Stealth family - the most forgiving model of the line
- A genuine slice-fighter - a heel-shifted 30g weight turns a weak slice into a powerful draw
- The highest-launching head in the line at 11.5 degrees - easy to get airborne for slower swings
- A gold medal on the 2023 Golf Digest Hot List, with the improved Stealth 2 sound and feel
Cons
- Very low workability - the strong draw and heel weighting make a fade hard to hit
- The highest-spinning head of the line at 3,105 rpm - the least efficient for distance and the weakest in wind
- Strictly a slicer's or slower-swinger's head - faster, straighter players won't want the draw
By dimension
Forgiveness
StrongThe most forgiving of the family - the highest-MOI driver in the entire Stealth family and the most forgiving model in the line, with the gain concentrated toward the heel side of centre, the heel-shifted Inertia Generator maintaining extreme MOI while adding draw. A draw head that, unusually, gives up nothing in forgiveness.
Distance
StrongSolid, if spinny - the highest-launching at 11.5 degrees and highest-spinning at 3,105 rpm of the three Stealth 2 models, which costs a little efficiency, with good carry for the target slicer. Long enough, but the high launch and spin give back distance versus the standard Stealth 2.
Workability
ModestLocked into a draw - the strong, heel-weighted draw bias makes a fade hard to produce, the high-MOI, draw-biased head built to turn the ball over rather than shape it both ways. Minimal shot-shape freedom by design.
Feel
ExcellentStable and solid - a stable, solid feel, a satisfying carbon-face strike in line with the rest of the Stealth 2 line. A quality, reassuring sensation.
Sound
ExcellentPleasing and on-brand - a confident, pleasing note, the Stealth 2 generation's much-improved carbon acoustic. Clean and satisfying, like its siblings.
Looks at address
ExcellentClean, if a touch closed - the draw-biased head sits reassuring at address with a slightly closed, confidence-inspiring look for the slicer, clean and premium. A tidy head for its target player.
