Strong for a compact mallet - the X 5's combination of steel and aluminium with the wing shape boosts MOI for forgiveness on off-centre strikes, significantly more forgiving than a blade, a higher-MOI, face-balanced design. Forgiving for its size, if below the larger Phantom X mallets.
Distance
A standout - the milled 303 stainless face gives a consistent roll and pace, the milled face delivering repeatability. Among the better putters for distance control.
Workability
A nearly face-balanced mallet - a single-bend shaft for less toe flow, a nearly face-balanced setup (the 5.5 jet neck adds toe flow). Very limited arc-fit - built for a straighter stroke.
Feel
