Where it wins
- Looks91
- Feel88
- Sound87
Watch
Rated highest for looks and feel; its softest dimension is workability.
Your stroke curves gently and you want the square Anser shape with real feedback.
You want a putter with a strong character of its own, or you miss the middle often.
Pros
- Feedback on where you struck it is genuinely excellent
- A slimmer top edge on the most familiar outline in golf, finished to Scotty's standard
- Tungsten weights matched to length rather than lead tape
- Milled from a single block, the point of this whole range
Cons
- Feel depends more on your ball than on the putter, which some will find hollow
- The face rewards a narrow band of strikes, and swapping weights does not change that
By dimension
Forgiveness
SolidClassic proportions, so the useful area of the face is small and the weights cannot enlarge it.
Distance
ExcellentPace holds up from the middle, with the usual blade penalty as you move outward.
Workability
SolidA plumber's neck with moderate hang, cut for a stroke that curves rather than tracks.
Feel
ExcellentCompetent rather than memorable, and what you notice depends heavily on which ball you play.
Sound
ExcellentSoft balls give a dull press and firmer ones a distinct tick, the head taking its cue from them.
Looks at address
Class-leadingSquare shoulders, a thinned top edge and restrained markings, recognisable at a glance.
