Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Elite forgiveness on strikes across the face — Free-Hosel Technology drops CG 12% via 4g hosel/heel weight savings
- Incredibly stable through impact — ball feels the same whether it comes off the toe, heel, or center; class-benchmark feel consistency
- Loft-specific bias system — 2H fade, 3H/4H neutral, 5H/6H/7H draw — new fitting dimension Ping hadn't offered before
- 8%-shallower + 6%-thinner face — faster ball speed, higher peak height, more stopping power
- ~£310 MSRP at the premium end of the hybrid market (vs G430's ~£270)
- GI accuracy-first design — even with loft-specific bias, not shape-shifting workability
- Loft-specific bias means buyers fitting outside their natural shape preference may need to override bias
- No movable weight system — adjustability limited to ±1.5° hosel + loft selection
