Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- OS model adds 5 yards of carry distance over the SIM Max — and SIM Max was the longest hybrid of 2020 (226yd avg carry)
- Oversize iron-replacement profile + Twist Face + Thru-Slot Speed Pocket + V Steel sole — class-leading 2020 forgiveness for super-GI players
- Independent testing: 135.2mph ball speed at 93.5mph swing — strong efficiency for slow-moderate swings
- Reinvented V-Steel sole — versatility from tight or difficult lies
- Super-GI oversize profile — not for ball-strikers who want a workable compact head
- Strong lofts + high-launch design — high spin (~3,724rpm) may shed altitude in wind
- Now 5 years old (2020 release) — superseded by SIM2 Max, Stealth, Qi10, Qi35, Qi4D generations
- OS variant aimed at iron-replacement use — narrower target audience vs SIM Max core model
