Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Longest hybrid of 2020 — 226yd average carry shared via Max head architecture
- Tour adoption: McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, and Collin Morikawa all put a SIM Rescue in play in 2020 — three of the best players on the planet
- Better-player crack with slightly firmer feel + V Steel sole (first in TM hybrid line) + Twist Face + C300 face
- Rory McIlroy: 'It's like hitting a 7-iron' — iron-like tour-validated feedback
- The 2020 'rescues only come in the SIM Max design' — the distinction between 'SIM Rescue' and 'SIM Max Rescue' is largely a marketing label
- Now 5 years old (2020 release) — superseded by SIM2, Stealth, Qi10, Qi35, Qi4D generations
- Mid-width head — not for golfers who spray shots; the OS variant is better suited
- No movable weight system — adjustability limited to standard ±2° loft sleeve
