Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- MyGolfSpy 2024 Best Overall Wedge and Best for Spin - raised the bar by a couple hundred RPM on full shots
- Six grinds (W/B/S/H/T/E) across 25 loft-grind combos - Ping's most versatile wedge lineup
- Ludicrous greenside spin and elite wet-weather performance
- Premium, compact looks - hard to find a better-looking wedge, in chrome or Midnight
- Tour-style and compact - not built for maximum forgiveness (the Glide 4.0 suits higher handicaps)
- Cast, not forged - the elastomer insert softens it, but it's not a milled-soft feel
- Quiet, subtle feedback - mishits don't announce themselves loudly
