- New saw-milled grooves at the legal limit and Spin Tread - 13% more spin than the MG4 in the wet
- Far more consistent dry-to-wet - launch and spin variation cut to 4.5° / 2,800 rpm (from 6.4° / 4,200)
- Six tour-inspired grinds (SB/SC/SX/LB/HB/TW) and a refined, premium look
- Limited forgiveness - toe mishits fall short, designed for skilled players
- The raw face rusts over time - it needs a little maintenance
- Premium pricing - around £179, more for the TW grind
