Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Unbelievable consistency. Robust launch, spin, and ball speed. Industry-leading adjustability
- Industry-leading 7-loft ladder (17°/19°/22°/25°/28°/31°/34°) — wider than any 2024-2026 competitor; can replace half your iron set
- Carbon fiber crown + 6%-thinner perimeter face + squared face design — upgrades the Black Ops's class-leading forgiveness with better ball speed
- 2026 Golf Digest Hot List recognised
- Premium PXG pricing at ~£310 — at the top of the hybrid market
- Direct-to-consumer PXG model — in-store fitting is limited vs major OEM retail partners
- Compact deeper-headed shape may not suit players who want a wider mid-size GI footprint
- Carbon fiber crown — long-term durability of premium golf carbon construction remains a watch-item vs all-steel hybrids
