CaddyIndex™ breakdown — what the agentic research found across each of the six performance dimensions, with cited sources.
Mid-to-high handicap golfers (HCP 10–25) with 85–110mph swing speed who want premium PXG design language and forgiveness at a value price point.
You want category-leading distance, need movable-weight shape-tuning, or have a tour-aspirational profile — PXG's higher-tier 0311 / Black Ops / Lightning chassis serve those buyers better.
Pros
- Best-in-class value — the brand's $219 entry-price chassis with premium design language and aspirational looks
- MOI ~5,000+ g/cm² with CG 1mm below the neutral axis — impressive forgiveness and stability per GOLF ClubTest 2021
- Honeycomb TPE sole insert delivers a refined acoustic and dampened feel — an unusually premium tactile response for a budget chassis
- Excels in accuracy and forgiveness — top-quartile 2021 stability metrics for the mid-handicap buyer
Cons
- Distance is a glaring weakness, finishing toward the bottom of independent robot testing — competent but not category-leading ball speeds
- Single 10g adjustable back weight (no movable shape-tuning system) and a hosel ±1.5° only — minimal adjustability
- MyGolfSpy claims for the new 0211: only 1.6mph faster ball speed than the predecessor — modest year-over-year gain
- 4-year recency penalty — superseded by the 0311 Gen 6 (2023), Black Ops (2024), and Lightning (2026) on raw performance
By dimension
Forgiveness
MOI measured around 5,000-5,200 g/cm² with the centre of gravity about 1mm below the neutral axis — strategic perimeter weighting drives the stability. Independent robot testing confirmed the head excels in accuracy and forgiveness, with reviewer panels giving high praise for impressive forgiveness and stability. The 10g back weight is adjustable from 2.5g to 20g, letting buyers dial in MOI further. Top-quartile 2021 forgiveness at a fraction of premium-driver pricing.
Distance
Distance is the chassis's known weakness. Robot testing reported distance "finishes towards the bottom for this scoring metric" — a glaring weakness. Launch monitor testing measured ball speeds averaging 145-150mph at 100mph swing with 230-240yd carry — competent but not category-leading. CG placed low and back produces mid-low spin (~2,100rpm) but the modest face material and perimeter mass don't drive top-end ball speeds. Manufacturer claimed only 1.6mph gain over predecessor.
Workability
Limited shape-tuning hardware. Single 10g adjustable back weight (2.5-20g range) affects swing weight and modestly affects MOI but not shape. Standard hosel offers ±1.5° loft only. The chassis is built around forgiveness rather than workability — better players can manipulate flight via shaft choice but the head defaults strongly to neutral. Mid-low spin character gives some shape capability but the chassis isn't a shape-maker's head.
Feel
Reviewer testing called the feel lively and responsive at the point of contact, with the high-strength Ti412 titanium alloy face ensuring excellent energy transfer. A Honeycomb TPE sole insert soaks up vibration to ensure great sound and feel. The TPE damping system is unusual for a value-tier driver and produces premium tactile response. Above mid-pack for a budget chassis.
Sound
Acoustic profile reads quieter than expected — roughly average volume with a mid-pitch "thwack" that registers as quieter than it actually is. Reviewer testing called the sound crisp and authoritative, combining a harmonious "click" with a subtle "pop" — a strong metallic "clink" on centre strikes. The Honeycomb TPE insert tunes vibration for an unusually refined acoustic at the price point.
Looks at address
Address profile reads as one of the best value-for-money drivers on the market — combining aspirational looks with consistent performance. Premium design language including the distinctive sole with weight ports and wings at the price of a budget driver. Industry-panel testers reviewed the design favourably. Clean, modern, tour-leaning silhouette that belies the value pricing.
