Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- Ping's steadiest head — as much MOI as any big-brand club, so almost anything you hit finds the short grass
- A big sound-and-feel upgrade on the G425 Max, with a modest distance bump
- A Golf Digest Hot List Gold winner, with bias adjustability
- Stability-first — little scope to shape the ball
- Distance is good, not class-leading — forgiveness comes first
- A full-size head some better players find bulky
