Relative to category peers · methodologyPros & cons
- One of the most successful designs in putter history - high-MOI fang wings stabilise off-centre strikes
- Elite distance control - a dual-urethane insert plus an FRD groove for immediate roll
- An amazing, soft feel - it rolls smooth as butter
- Face-balanced for a straight stroke, with an easy-to-align angular fang
- Face-balanced only - very limited arc-fit (look at the #7 S for an arc)
- The standard DB lacks the half-ball alignment of the Cruiser variant
- A larger fang mallet, not for blade purists
