Who we are

Data we collect

This site is a static, pre-launch marketing page. We do not ask you to create an account, fill out forms, or submit personal information. The only data we passively collect is:

• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
• Email you send us: if you email [email protected], we keep that email and your reply address so we can respond.

Cookies

CaddyCompare does not set tracking, advertising or analytics cookies on this pre-launch site. If this changes in the future — for example, when we add analytics or a login system — we will update this page and show a cookie consent banner before setting any non-essential cookie.

Affiliate links

When CaddyCompare launches its catalog, product links will route through affiliate networks to UK golf retailers. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, CaddyCompare may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate networks set their own cookies on the retailer's domain to track the referral — this is handled by the retailer and the affiliate network, not by CaddyCompare, and is covered by their own privacy policies.

Third parties

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests as a data processor on our behalf and may log IP addresses for security reasons. Email sent to [email protected] is processed by Google Workspace.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy as CaddyCompare grows. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will always show when it last changed.
