About CaddyCompare

Buying golf clubs in the UK is harder than it should be. Prices are scattered across a dozen retailer sites, reviews live on forums and YouTube, and there is no consistent way to rate a full bag from driver to putter — let alone spot a real deal on the exact spec you want.

The problem

If you want to upgrade a single wedge, you can usually work it out. If you want to build or rebuild a full set, you are stuck opening dozens of tabs, trying to remember which iron you saw where, whose review to trust, and which retailer actually has it in stock at a reasonable price.

The approach

CaddyCompare combines three things: live UK retailer pricing pulled from affiliate product feeds, a structured catalog that maps variants (loft, shaft, flex, hand) to one canonical product, and BagIndex — a numeric score (40–100) that maps every club to a quality-level tier from Starter through Clubhouse and Scratch up to Tour. You can browse by category, filter by tier, assemble a bag in a slot-based builder, and see the total BagIndex score alongside the live deals we have found for each piece.
